Department of Travel Medicine and Travel Clinic

Service Provided:
The travel clinic offers a fee paying service for individuals with complex medical problems, existing customers and clients with corporate contracts. We provide up-to-date information and pre-travel advice including anti-malarials and prophylactic drugs. We also stock a wide range of products such as mosquito repellents and nets.

What do we consider a complex problem?

  • Travellers who are receiving treatment or being followed up by a doctor for their condition or are under specialist care for a medical problem.
  • Pregnant women
  • People living abroad for 6 months or more
  • Travellers over the age of 65

Appointments are available on Wednesdays 1pm-5pm, Thursdays 9am-4.30pm and Fridays 9am-1pm and must be pre-booked by telephone: 020 3447 5999.

We charge an initial consultation fee of £20.00 for a typical 15 or 30 minute appointment. This fee is not charged for repeat visits necessary to complete a vaccination series e.g. rabies or hepatitis B, or subsequent visits in relation to the same journey.
Group Bookings: we offer a 10% discount for groups of 10 or more (terms and conditions apply).

The clinic is open for general purchases and information on Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm.
