The Hospital for Tropical Diseases (HTD) is the only National Health Service (NHS)
Hospital dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of tropical diseases
and travel related infections. The Hospital serves those who are preparing to travel
together with long and short term returned travellers, immigrants and refugee populations.
It also provides the clinical infectious disease service for UCL Hospitals NHS Trust
and has a purpose built 43 bed tropical and infectious disease unit.
